Topic: The Center for Science Education at Emory
Please join us at our next chapter meeting, 6:30 PM, Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Leah Ruth Anderson and colleagues from the Center for Science Education at Emory will speak to us. They will discuss their work promoting science education at the undergraduate level and their outreach program to Atlanta Public Schools.
The meeting will be held in the Rita Ann Rollins Room on the 8th floor of the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, 1518 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30322. Parking in the student/staff parking deck is available for meeting attendees at no charge. This parking deck is located on Michael Street behind the School of Public Health building.
The entry fee is $15 for members and $18 for nonmembers. Dinner is included. Reservations are required by Monday, May 5, 2008.

Please reserve your place at the next AMWA-SE chapter meeting by Monday, May 5, 2008. Dinner will be served at a cost of $15 for members and $18 for nonmembers, to be paid at the meeting.
Dinner will be your choice of sandwich from Jason's Deli. Each sandwich box comes with fruit and tortilla chips with salsa:
- Turkey Wrap - 98% fat-free oven roasted turkey breast, homemade guacamole, tomatoes and sprouts in a wrap, served with a side of ranch dressing.
- Spinach Veggie Wrap - Stuffed with organic spinach, homemade guacamole and pico, sprouts, mushrooms, and asiago cheese, with a side of homemade salsa.
- Traditional Sandwich - A 1/3 lb. traditional sandwich with hard salami, lettuce, and tomato on white bread.
Please indicate your sandwich preference on the reservation form.
Note: There will be a charge of $10 for those who submit a reservation but do not attend.

Directions to the Rollins School of Public Health
From I-85:
* Exit Clairmont Road (exit 91)
* From I-85 North, take a right onto Clairmont Road
* From I-85 South, take a left onto Clairmont Road
* Follow Clairmont approximately 3 miles to North Decatur Road
* Turn right and follow North Decatur Road approximately 1 mile to the Emory Campus.
* Turn right on Clifton Road. You will pass Emory University Hospital on the left.
* The Rollins School of Public Health is at the intersection of Houston Mill Road and Clifton Road.
* Turn left onto Houston Mill Road and then left again onto Rollins Way.
* Free parking is available for meeting attendees in the student/staff parking deck on Michael Street behind the School of Public Health building.
