Topic: The Role of Medical Illustration, Animation and Interactive in Medical Education
Please join us for our next chapter meeting at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Our speaker is Andrew Swift, the sole proprietor of Swift Illustration (www.swiftillustration.com) and Creative Director with iSO-FORM (www.iso-form.com).
Andrew earned his MS in Medical Illustration from the Medical College of Georgia in 1999. Following graduation, Andrew worked as an Assistant Professor at MCG with a joint appointment in the Department of Medical Illustration and the Department of Surgery, Section of Neurosurgery. Andrew was an Associate Professor with the Medical Illustration Graduate Program from 2000 until 2010. Andrew has been a Professional Member of the Association of Medical Illustrators since 2000, and was recognized as a Certified Medical Illustrator in 2002.
Andrew’s illustration work has won numerous awards including the Russel Drake Award and the Ralph Sweet Member’s Choice Award which he has won 3 times since 2003.
The meeting location is the Claudia Nance Rollins Building room 1034 at Emory University. Parking in the student/staff parking deck is available for meeting attendees at no charge. Click here for directions.

Reserve your place at the next AMWA-SE chapter meeting by noon, Tuesday, March 13. The meeting fee is to be paid at the meeting. The meeting fee with dinner included is $15 for members and $18 for nonmembers. The meeting fee without dinner is $5. You can select a boxed dinner, provided by Jason's Deli, on the form. Each sandwich comes with chips, pickle, condiments, and a brownie or cookie.
Note: There will be a charge of $10 for those who submit a reservation with dinner included but do not attend or cancel the reservation by noon the day before the meeting.
